Dubai Future Forum 2024: World Leaders to Shape the Future at Museum of the Future
Dubai is set to host the third edition of the Dubai Future Forum, organized by the Dubai Future Foundation on November 19-20, at the iconic Museum of the Future.
With 150 distinguished speakers, including government leaders, CEOs, academics, and futurists, the event aims to inspire collaboration on global challenges and future innovation. Over 2,500 participants and representatives from 100 countries and 100 international organizations are expected to attend, making it a landmark global event.
Featuring around 70 sessions, the forum will explore five critical themes: Futuring Nature, Transforming Humanity, Optimising Health, Empowering Generations, and Foresight Insights. Discussions will span sectors like space, AI, digital economy, sustainability, and health. Highlights include the unveiling of 100 innovative solutions as part of the "Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity" initiative, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and in partnership with the Hussain Sajwani – DAMAC Foundation.
Prominent speakers include Sarah Sabry, the first Arab and African astronaut, and renowned futurists like Paul Saffo of Stanford, who views the Forum as an "essential gathering" for tackling global issues. Prof. Pattie Maes of MIT emphasized the importance of advancing AI for societal benefit, while Bo Viktor Nylund of UNICEF called for prioritizing children’s futures.
New activations, cultural exchanges, and workshops throughout Dubai will supplement the event, encouraging participants to delve deeper into scenario development and problem-solving techniques. As Dr. Jordan Nguyen, a biomedical engineer, noted,
“This gathering allows us to collectively capitalize on our evolving tools in science and technology for a better future.”
