The Gulf Insurance Federation is set to host the 19th Annual Gulf Insurance Forum from October 15 to 16, 2024, at a prominent venue in Dubai.

The event will bring together over 250 officials and insurance experts from 36 Arab and international countries, alongside representatives from Arab insurance federations, the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers, and various regulatory bodies.

This year’s forum will focus on the theme "Recent Floods in the GCC and Landscape of Digital Disruption." With the increasing frequency of natural disasters, discussions will center on insurance strategies to mitigate their impacts, exploring the repercussions for insurance companies and emphasizing the importance of robust risk management practices and modelling.

The event aims not only to address immediate challenges but also to foster the development of the insurance industry, which plays a vital role in the national economy. Key topics will include enhancing resilience in the face of climate-related disasters and leveraging technology to streamline insurance processes.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, facilitating collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry leaders and experts. The Gulf Insurance Forum promises to be a pivotal event for shaping the future of insurance in the region, tackling both current challenges and emerging trends in the dynamic landscape of the insurance sector.
