24 International & Local Sports Events to take place in Dubai during the Week

Dubai is hosting an exciting array of 24 international and local sports events this weekend, in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council and featuring participants from UAE and around the world. Key highlights include the Dubai Muscle Show, Arabian Warriors Challenge, World Congress of Sports Medicine, and the Plus 500 City Half Marathon.

Key Events:

  1. Dubai Muscle Show (Oct 25-27): The Middle East’s largest fitness event at Dubai Exhibition Center, featuring 400 global brands, 3,000 athletes, and notable names like Chris Bumstead and Big Ramy. Alongside, there will be three exhibitions: Dubai Bodybuilding Exhibition, Dubai Active Life Exhibition, and Dubai Active Industry.
  2. Arabian Warriors Challenge (Oct 26): Hosted at Dubai Islands by Nakheel, offering multiple obstacle courses, including the 50km Khayali Race and 20km Legendary Race, with junior categories for younger participants.
  3. World Congress of Sports Medicine (Oct 24): Taking place at Dubai World Trade Center, this four-day conference includes 16 sessions led by 130 global specialists.
  4. Plus 500 City Half Marathon (Oct 27): Starting from Dubai World Trade Center, runners will pass iconic landmarks like Burj Khalifa in 21km, 10km, and 5km races.

  • Sheikha Hind Women’s Sports Tournament: Concludes with badminton (Oct 24), cycling (Oct 25), long-distance swimming, shooting, and basketball events held at various venues, including Al Nasr Sports Club and Fazza Shooting Club.
  • Diamond Cup Gymnastics: Scheduled at Al Nasr Sports Club.
  • UAE Open Muay Thai Championship: Also taking place over the weekend.
  • CrossFit Championship for Cancer Control (Oct 26): Held at The Sevens Stadium, promoting cancer awareness.
  • Ladies Charity Polo Cup: To be held at Al-Habtoor Polo Club & Resort.
  • Community Events for Cancer Awareness: Including a cycling event and walkathon at DXB Bike.
