Arvato Opens Regional Logistics Headquarters in Dubai CommerCity

Dubai CommerCity (DCC), the first free zone dedicated to digital commerce, celebrated the inauguration of Arvato’s new regional logistics headquarters in its premises.

Arvato, a leading international supply chain and e-commerce service provider headquartered in Germany, has strategically expanded its operations to Dubai, marking its first presence in the region.

The newly established 3,300 sqm facility positions Arvato at the center of Dubai’s dynamic logistics and trade hub, ensuring efficient regional and international connectivity. In 2023, Arvato, which operates across 20+ countries with over 17,000 employees, generated annual revenues exceeding €2.5 billion.

The inauguration was attended by Amna Lootah, Board Member at Dubai CommerCity, Frank Schirrmeister, CEO of Arvato, and Umur Özkal, Managing Director for UAE and Türkiye, along with senior officials. Lootah highlighted Dubai’s appeal as a global business destination, stating,

“Our unique digital commerce ecosystem empowers brands like Arvato to thrive with state-of-the-art infrastructure and advanced offerings.”

Schirrmeister emphasized Arvato’s commitment to delivering reliable supply chain solutions, while Özkal reiterated Dubai CommerCity’s strategic value in expanding their Middle Eastern footprint.

Arvato’s services in Dubai will include warehousing, order management, transport coordination, forecasting, and customs brokerage. With the MENA e-commerce market projected to surpass $160 billion by 2029, Arvato’s presence in Dubai aligns with its growth objectives and regional demand.

As a joint venture between Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) and Wasl Properties, Dubai CommerCity offers comprehensive business setup, streamlined logistics, and cutting-edge facilities, creating an ideal environment for businesses like Arvato to flourish.
