Botim Unveils MENA's First 'Send Now, Pay Later' Remittance Service

Astra Tech has introduced a pioneering financial service called "Send Now, Pay Later" (SNPL) through its Botim Ultra app, aimed at the UAE's expatriate population.

This new feature enables users to remit money abroad instantly and pay in installments, providing greater financial flexibility. As the first fintech in the MENA region to offer this solution, Astra Tech is tapping into the UAE's large remittance market. The SNPL feature, designed to alleviate financial stress during high-demand periods, builds on Botim’s growing fintech ecosystem and remittance services, which have already processed significant transactions since 2022.

CEO Abdallah Abu Sheikh called SNPL a “game-changer” for millions of users, further enhancing Botim’s capabilities by offering credit solutions through Astra Tech’s acquisition of a finance company license.
