Dubai Festival City Mall Announces The Arch, A New Iconic State-of-the-Art Multi-Purpose Venue
- Opening 6th November, the arch will be free for all guests during Dubai Fitness Challenge
- Thrill-seekers are in for a treat with a whole host of activities sure to get pulses racing
Now the long, hot summer is coming to an end, it’s time for residents and visitors of Dubai to get back in the great outdoors. Dubai Festival City Mall has just the thing – The Arch, a giant state-of-the-art multi-purpose iconic venue by Warrior Group and Al Laith, featuring an Adventure park with various activities set to get hearts pumping. During Phase 1, four activities are available on the Arch – a climbing wall, zip line, bag jump and quick flight. The Arch is the perfect destination for adventure for all the family.
Participants will have an awesome experience as they fly through the air on a 230m zipline taking in the surrounding views from the iconic location. A massive leap of faith from a 13m platform awaits those taking on quick flight, which will have their knees shaking – the only way down is by jumping off the platform, with a cable catching them a few seconds later. The climbing wall consists of five different routes to choose from, for both beginner and experienced level climbers. Finally, guests will experience the thrill of leaping through the air from platforms of four our six metres onto a giant inflatable bag if they dare to try the bag jump.
The Arch will be opening as part of DTCM’s Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), an annual celebration of all thing’s fitness and wellness. Launched in 2017, the initiative challenges everyone in the city to complete 30 minutes of activity each day for 30 days. Dubai Fitness Challenge heralds a month-long calendar of exciting fitness events and wellness-focused entertainment to keep Dubai moving. It not only helps create fitness-focused mindsets, but also inspires Dubai residents to work towards a common goal of maintaining healthier, active lifestyles. This year’s event kicks off across the city on 30 October and runs until 28 November, with the Arch opening on 6th November. For the period of the event, Dubai Festival City Mall will also be hosting four fitness activity zones in the fitness village – football, basketball, pump track and a workout stage.

Our partnership with Dubai Festival City Mall reflects DFC’s priority focus to harness the collective potential of the city’s stakeholder ecosystem to make fitness easy and readily available to all. The Arch will mark an exciting addition to DFC’s uniquely themed Fitness Villages this year, bringing never-seen-before challenges, thrilling activities and helping diversify the physical footprint of the citywide movement to welcome children, teenagers, young adults and families across all communities.”
