Careem Partners with RTA to Offer FREE Bike Rentals for Dubai Ride

Careem has teamed up with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to offer free bike rentals for participants of the highly anticipated Dubai Ride on Sunday, November 10.

This partnership aims to encourage both residents and tourists to take part in the region’s largest community cycling event.

Careem will provide free bike rentals at two pop-up stations located at Entrance A: Museum of the Future (MOTF), Trade Center St., and Entrance E: Lower FCS, Financial Centre Rd. Participants can use the code DR24 to access a one-day pass for the free bikes, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The fifth edition of Dubai Ride is open to everyone, regardless of age or skill level. The event will begin at 5am with cycling routes opening to the public, followed by the ride starting at 6:15am and concluding by 8am.

This marks the third consecutive year Careem has partnered with the RTA for the event.

Abdulrahman Mohammad Aljanahi, Director of the Roads Right of Way, Traffic and Roads Agency, emphasized the initiative’s role in promoting a bicycle-friendly Dubai, supporting sustainable transport, and enhancing health and safety.

Careem’s Senior Director of Operations, Sami Amin, expressed excitement about contributing to the event's success, noting that the free bike rental service would make participation more accessible for all.

The collaboration underscores the ongoing commitment to sustainability and community engagement as part of Dubai's long-term vision for greener transportation.
