DIEZ Partners with Builder.ai to Boost AI and Quantum Technology Ecosystem

Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) has formed a strategic partnership with Builder.ai, an AI-powered software platform, to enhance the AI and Quantum Cluster at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO).

The agreement was signed during GITEX Global 2024, a premier tech and startup event held at Dubai World Trade Centre from October 14 to 18.

The collaboration focuses on fostering technological innovation through a "Living Lab" that will test and scale AI and quantum computing solutions. The partnership also extends to mentorship, research, and educational initiatives, providing a foundation for economic growth through joint workshops and seminars.

Builder.ai, as the Ecosystem Partner for the AI and Quantum Cluster, will offer specialized services to companies within DSO at preferential rates. These services include custom software development through Builder.ai’s platform, which combines pre-built templates and customizable features, enabling businesses to develop digital solutions quickly and affordably.

Badr Buhannad, Deputy Director General of DSO & Chief Corporate Support Officer at DIEZ, emphasized the significance of the partnership in advancing Dubai’s role as a global digital economy leader.

“This partnership strengthens DSO's value chain, fostering innovation and benefiting the free zone's integrated ecosystem,”

he said.

Varghese Cherian, Chief Revenue Officer at Builder.ai, highlighted the platform’s ability to digitally empower businesses within DSO without requiring deep technical expertise, accelerating their digital transformation.

This partnership aligns with the UAE's broader AI strategy, positioning the country as a leader in integrating AI across key sectors, further cementing Dubai’s role as a hub for future technologies.
