Dubai Duty Free and TerraPay Partner to Revolutionize Payment Solutions

TerraPay, a global leader in cross-border money movement, has teamed up with Dubai Duty Free (DDF), the world’s largest single airport retailer, to enhance the shopping experience for more than 100 million customers annually.

This innovative collaboration allows travelers to make purchases using their home-country digital wallets, ushering in a new era of convenience and accessibility in payment solutions.

By leveraging TerraPay's vast global network, which connects over 3.7 billion mobile wallets, Dubai Duty Free will now accept a variety of digital wallets, providing shoppers with seamless, borderless transactions. Leading mobile payment operators such as Airtel Money, M-PESA, and MTN MoMo are already part of the TerraPay network, enabling users to shop at Dubai Duty Free with ease. The partnership marks a significant step towards financial inclusion, empowering customers to use their preferred payment methods.

Ambar Sur, Founder & CEO of TerraPay, emphasized the strategic nature of the partnership, stating,
