Dubai Future Academy Launches 'FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Programme' for Global Visionary Leaders
Dubai Future Academy, under the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has initiated the "FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Programme," a four-week programme designed to equip leaders with future foresight and innovation skills.
The programme welcomed 42 leaders from 15 nations, engaging them in 33 interactive workshops, hands-on sessions, and panel discussions at the Academy’s headquarters in Dubai.
Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and Deputy Managing Director of DFF, inaugurated the programme, emphasizing that rapid sectoral changes bring unique opportunities. He highlighted that navigating future demands requires leveraging advanced technologies and foresight skills, and he encouraged participants to use the programme to strengthen their strategic vision and leadership capabilities for the benefit of their communities and organizations.
The programme attracted over 1,500 applicants from nearly 100 countries, ultimately selecting participants such as C-level executives, entrepreneurs, and government officials. Sessions will be led by 22 distinguished experts, including Professor Fadel Adib, recent recipient of the "Great Arab Minds Award," and renowned thinkers like Dr. Steven Novella and Professor Paul Saffo.
Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of DFF, emphasized the programme’s unique educational experience, which includes field visits to innovation hubs across the UAE, such as the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Future Labs, and the Museum of the Future. AlJaziri added that participants will have opportunities to collaborate and develop projects that shape the future of societies.
This first-of-its-kind regional programme offers a comprehensive platform for global leaders to gain hands-on exposure to transformative future technologies while fostering cross-sectoral collaboration.
