Dubai Launches E33 CoLabs to Drive Transformative Education Strategy

Over 200 educators, parents, students, and policymakers gathered in Dubai for the inaugural E33 CoLabs session, marking a significant step in implementing Education 33 (E33), the city’s groundbreaking education strategy.

This collaborative event focused on advancing the E33 vision through workshops and discussions aimed at redefining education in Dubai.

Launched by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, E33 represents a shift from traditional, institution-centric models to a learner-centric approach, prioritizing individual aspirations and aligning with the Dubai Plan, the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, and the Dubai Social Agenda.

Aisha Miran, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving E33’s goals.

“E33 is not just a plan on paper – it is a strategy in action. Together, we are shaping a future where education is impactful, inclusive, and lifelong,”

she stated.

The session unveiled 28 Game Changer initiatives, with prototypes developed for 10 of them. These initiatives address key areas, including enhancing education quality for Emiratis, elevating vocational training, positioning Dubai as a hub for top educators, and promoting learner and educator wellbeing. Projects like ‘Al Freej Nurseries,’ ‘Dubai Flagship University,’ and ‘Excel Anywhere’ are already underway, reflecting the strategy’s momentum.

Participants praised the event for fostering actionable solutions to ensure E33’s vision becomes a reality. The strategy aims to equip students with the skills and opportunities to thrive, creating a learner-centric ecosystem that secures Dubai’s position as a global leader in education innovation.
