Dubai Police Opens Up 175 Job Opportunities for UAE Nationals at Ru’ya 2024 Careers Fair

Dubai Police has announced 175 job opportunities for UAE nationals at the 2024 UAE Careers Fair 'Ru’ya', taking place from September 24 to 26 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

These vacancies include 50 positions for university graduates and 125 for high school diploma holders.

Attendees can visit the Dubai Police stand, where electronic devices will be available for online applications through their smart portal, as stated by Colonel Hamad bin Dafous, director of the Selection and Recruitment Department.

Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria, including being at least 18 years old, holding a diploma from a recognized educational institution, and passing tests, medical exams, and interviews. They must also have a clean criminal record and must not have been dismissed from any security or civil services.

Major General Ahmad Mohammed Rafea highlighted that recruiting UAE nationals aligns with Dubai's strategic goal of empowering young Emiratis in security roles. He emphasized the importance of attracting both male and female candidates to help achieve Dubai Police’s goal of making Dubai a "safe city" and fostering community happiness.

In the last three years, Dubai Police has offered over 500 job vacancies through career fairs, supporting Emirati youth in pursuing careers in law enforcement.

Major-General Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad reaffirmed Dubai Police’s commitment to participating in the UAE Careers Fair to provide young nationals with promising career paths in a globally recognized police force.
