Dubai Sports World (DSW) returns for its 14th edition, boasting a record-breaking 30,000 square feet of space dedicated to sports and recreation.

Located at the Dubai World Trade Center, this year's installment has expanded to offer 10 diverse sporting activities spread across 40 courts, solidifying its status as the region’s largest indoor sports destination.

Visitors to DSW can indulge in various activities including volleyball, tennis, cricket, padel, pickleball, and table tennis. New additions like Teqball, played on a curved table akin to football, promise unique experiences. Notably, the basketball court has been upgraded to professional standards, attracting former NBA player Dale Ellis and Indian actor Rannvijay Singha for a spirited exhibition match.

For fitness enthusiasts, a state-of-the-art CrossFit gym offers free access from 8 am to 12 pm daily, providing ample opportunities to stay active during summer. Cricket enthusiasts can hone their skills on multiple pitches, equipped with advanced bowling machines accommodating various ball types.

Families are also catered to with an expanded kids' play area featuring inflatable castles and rock climbing, ensuring entertainment for children while parents engage in sports or workouts.

Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President at Dubai World Trade Center, emphasized inclusivity with community-focused initiatives, welcoming elderly residents, delivery riders, taxi drivers, and others to partake in the facility's offerings.

DSW further enriches its program with free community events such as running clubs, yoga sessions, and HIIT workouts, underscoring its commitment to fostering a healthy lifestyle for all residents.

With its comprehensive offerings and expansive facilities, Dubai Sports World 2024 promises to be a cornerstone of Dubai’s summer sports scene, blending recreation with community engagement on a grand scale.
