Dubai to Host Foreseeing Government Audit Future Conference 2024

The Financial Audit Authority (FAA) has announced the Foreseeing Government Audit Future Conference 2024, scheduled for 24th October at Madinat Jumeirah.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the conference will focus on the theme “Tomorrow’s Auditor” and highlight Dubai’s leadership in government auditing.

Bringing together key figures and experts in auditing, finance, and economics, the conference will explore the future of government auditing and internal controls. It features panel discussions, workshops, and sessions on global standards, promoting knowledge exchange and enhancing the performance of government auditors.

A keynote session by Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, will open the event. The session will address the governance of AI and the digital economy, aligning with Dubai's innovative vision.

Notable sessions include discussions on the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the role of effective governance in its success. In addition, the conference will feature inspiring stories of Emirati women leaders and focus on topics such as fraud risk assessment, cybersecurity, and AI in internal auditing.

Abdulrahman Al Hareb, FAA’s Director-General, emphasized the importance of building a strong auditing culture, which plays a crucial role in driving growth and ensuring financial security in line with Dubai’s development goals.
