Dubai to Host Inaugural L’Étape Dubai by Tour de France

Cycling legends Ján Svorada and Peter Velits are set to grace the inaugural L’Étape Dubai by Tour de France, scheduled to take place from February 1-2, 2025.

This prestigious cycling event, bringing the spirit of the Tour de France to the UAE, will feature two distinct routes: a challenging 101km "The Race" designed for seasoned riders and a more leisurely 50km "The Ride" catering to cycling enthusiasts.

The event will kick off with a vibrant festival atmosphere at the Tour de France Village in Expo Village Park. Visitors can expect interactive displays showcasing the rich history of the Tour de France, including an exhibition of legendary cycling jerseys. Merchandise stalls will offer a range of cycling gear and souvenirs, while entertainment programs, including a cycling workshop, will engage participants and spectators alike.

Prior to the main race day, a series of "Welcome Dubai Rides" will be held from January 29th to 31st at Al Qudra and Nad Al Sheba cycle tracks.
