Dubai Women Establishment Announces DEWA as Strategic Partner for Global Women’s Forum 2024
Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) announced today that Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will serve as the Strategic Partner for the upcoming Global Women’s Forum – Dubai 2024, scheduled for November 26-27 at Madinat Jumeirah. This marks the third consecutive year DWE is organizing the event.
This partnership underscores the enduring collaboration between DWE and DEWA, which has previously sponsored the Forum in 2016 and 2020. The Forum serves as a vital platform for discussing women's roles across various sectors through panel discussions featuring global leaders, officials, and experts dedicated to enhancing women's contributions.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, expressed that the partnership aims to empower women and elevate their professional capabilities, aligning with the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to support women’s participation in UAE’s development. DEWA will play a significant role at the Forum, featuring the "Future Stand" and dedicated sessions highlighting its gender-inclusive work environment.
Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson of the Board and Managing Director of DWE, emphasized that this collaboration reflects the UAE’s commitment to empowering women globally. The Forum will explore key themes, including 'Future Economies, Future Societies,' 'Collective Engagements, Collective Actions,' and 'Impactful Technologies, Impactful Innovations.'
The two-day event will include workshops aimed at addressing challenges faced by women while facilitating meaningful discussions to advance their roles in impactful global partnerships. DEWA’s involvement reinforces its dedication to promoting women’s empowerment and sustainable practices, contributing to the national economy and gender equality initiatives.
