Emirates and Museum of the Future to Host Inaugural Aviation Future Week in Dubai
Dubai is set to become the epicenter of aviation innovation with the launch of the inaugural Aviation Future Week, scheduled for 15-17 October 2024.
The groundbreaking event, hosted by Emirates and the Museum of the Future, will draw UAE ministers, senior government officials, and industry leaders from aviation, aerospace, airfreight, MRO (Maintenance, Overhaul & Repair), and logistics sectors to Dubai.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, expressed the significance of the event:
“Dubai is the ideal stage for global aviation leaders to convene, share insights, and collaborate on reshaping the industry's future. Our commitment to technology and innovation provides a fertile ground for pioneering advancements and enhancing operational efficiency and passenger experiences.”
Aviation Future Week promises a comprehensive agenda, featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops. The first day will focus on addressing air travel demand, airport infrastructure, and leveraging technology to improve passenger experiences. Day two will delve into airfreight and logistics advancements, with a specific emphasis on MRO development. The final day will explore the transformative potential of Web3, AI, and XR technologies, highlighting their impact on workflow efficiencies and service delivery. Additionally, sessions will cover strategies for integrating AI and upskilling the aviation workforce.
The event will also showcase the latest aviation technologies through a rich exhibition platform. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore new products and concepts and engage in interactive workshops led by Emirates, the Museum of the Future, and other prominent industry stakeholders including Boeing and the Emirates Group Youth Council.
