Emirates Expands Premium Economy Experience to Manchester and Milan with Latest A380 Upgrades

Emirates is elevating its customer experience further by introducing its latest retrofitted Airbus A380 aircraft—featuring the airline’s sought-after Premium Economy cabin—to Manchester and Milan this summer.

Starting 6 June, the enhanced A380 will operate on flights EK017/018 to Manchester, followed by EK091/092 to Milan from 1 July. With this launch, Emirates will boost its UK Premium Economy offering to nearly 5,000 weekly seats, adding to the existing four daily retrofitted A380s flying between Dubai and London Heathrow, the A350 service to Edinburgh, and the soon-to-debut refurbished Boeing 777 on the London Stansted route in May.

Milan will be Emirates’ second Italian destination to feature the upgraded A380 experience, complementing the airline’s upcoming A350 service to Bologna later in June. These additions expand Emirates’ network of retrofitted A380 destinations to 19 global cities, reinforcing its investment in premium in-flight offerings and customer comfort.

Passengers travelling from Manchester and Milan will now have seamless access to Emirates’ four-class A380 experience on long-haul journeys to key cities across Asia and Australasia, including Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

Positioned at the front of the main deck, Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin features 56 spacious seats in a 2-4-2 layout, offering ample legroom, in-seat charging, and side cocktail tables. The experience is complemented by thoughtfully curated in-flight amenities, a refined menu, and an exclusive beverage selection—highlighted by the Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, served only in Emirates Premium Economy.

Bookings are now open via emirates.com, the Emirates App, retail outlets, and travel agencies.
