Emirates Group and Airbus Beyond Extend Leadership Development Partnership
The Emirates Group has renewed its collaboration with Airbus Beyond, extending the Leadership Programme tailored for Emirati employees for another three years.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Amira Al Falasi, Emirates Group’s Senior Vice President of Training & Development, and Airbus Beyond CEO Adam McGonigal. The ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organizations, including Oliver Grohmann, Emirates Group’s Executive Vice President of Human Resources, and Ahmed Safa, Head of Engineering and MRO at Emirates.
The partnership aims to equip Emirati talent with leadership capabilities through bespoke training modules. Over 45 UAE Nationals have completed the Airbus Leadership Programme, which combines industry expertise with essential leadership skills to prepare participants for dynamic roles in the aviation sector.
The programme features two modules: the first, conducted at Airbus’s headquarters in Toulouse, focuses on building self-awareness and emotional intelligence. The second module, held in Singapore, emphasizes practical business simulations to hone problem-solving and analytical skills. Each module spans five days and blends theoretical and practical training.
This collaboration aligns with the Emirates Group’s commitment to nurturing Emirati leaders through tailored development programmes that ensure agility and readiness to achieve the company’s future goals.
Airbus Beyond, a subsidiary of Airbus, supports the aerospace ecosystem by partnering with airlines, suppliers, and academic institutions globally. Through its offices in multiple countries, Airbus Beyond empowers professionals with innovative training solutions to address the evolving challenges of the aviation industry.
This renewed partnership reinforces both organizations’ dedication to fostering local talent and advancing the future of aerospace leadership.
