The collaboration creates a powerful strike force that will build on football’s universal appeal to bring the largest event ever held in the Arab world to audiences around the globe.

Away from the pitch, City Football Group is renowned for its commitment to youth empowerment, sustainability, innovation and gender equality – global issues also at the heart of Expo 2020’s mission to build a cleaner, safer, healthier future for everyone.

Reflecting the global nature of Expo 2020 and its participants, as well as the diverse, multicultural population of the UAE, the partnership will also be amplified around the world through the City Football Group network, with exciting local activations planned at a number of Manchester City’s sister clubs, including New York City FC, Melbourne City FC and Yokohama F Marinos.
