Italian Fashion to Take Center Stage at Dubai Fashion Week 2025

Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) is set to showcase Italian fashion excellence with the debut of "La Moda Italiana: Dubai Edition" during its Spring/Summer 2025 edition.

This inaugural event, taking place from September 1st to 7th, is co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3) and the Arab Fashion Council, with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) organizing the Italian showcase.

From September 1st to 3rd, fashion enthusiasts can explore the latest Italian fashion trends at d3. The exhibition will feature 25 prestigious Italian brands, handpicked by the ITA, displaying an array of clothing, footwear, leather goods, and eyewear. This initiative highlights the growing influence of Italian fashion in the UAE market and underscores DFW's role as a global fashion hub.

The collaboration between ITA and DFW reflects the strong cultural and economic ties between Italy and the UAE. Italy's fashion exports to the UAE, which reached €838 million in 2023, continue to grow, emphasizing the strategic importance of this partnership. Italian Trade Commissioner Valerio Soldani expressed excitement for this first-ever showcase at DFW, marking a significant milestone in promoting "Made in Italy" excellence.

Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of d3, noted that the collaboration with ITA reinforces DFW's position as a gateway to new business opportunities, further solidifying Dubai's status as a global fashion capital.
