Japan Relies Heavily on Arab Oil, Imports 41% from UAE in June

Japan's Agency for Natural Resources and Energy announced that the country's oil imports from the United Arab Emirates reached 25.84 million barrels in June, accounting for 41.3 per cent of Japan's total oil imports.

In total, Japan imported approximately 62.54 million barrels of oil for the month. Notably, 96.4 per cent of this oil, or 60.26 million barrels, was sourced from four other Arab nations: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman.

This data highlights the significant role of the UAE Gand other Arab countries in Japan's energy supply.
