Fifth Edition of ‘Emarat Al Aman’ Competition Opens at Dubai Mall

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, has officially opened the fifth edition of the ‘Emarat Al Aman’ competition at the Zabeel Sports District in Dubai Mall.

Organized by Dubai’s Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) in partnership with Emaar, the event runs until November 7 and aims to raise awareness about security while fostering community engagement.

The opening ceremony was attended by key officials, including His Excellency Awad Hader Al Muhairi, Chairman of SIRA, and other prominent leaders from Dubai’s security sectors. Launched in 2018, ‘Emarat Al Aman’ has engaged over 500 teams and 4,200 participants across its editions, encouraging active involvement from both public and private sectors as well as the broader community. The event reflects the UAE’s values of unity and collaboration, inspiring participants to contribute to a secure and cohesive society.

This year’s competition presents participants with a series of physical and mental challenges that aim to enhance teamwork, leadership, and strategic thinking skills. The fifth edition introduces new activities to expand the event’s appeal, including an art exhibition that features a gallery documenting the journey of ‘Emarat Al Aman’ and interactive art displays with renowned artists, offering visitors a unique cultural experience alongside the competition.

SIRA has also introduced updated challenges to boost excitement and elevate the competition’s standards, with significant prizes available for the top-performing teams. In addition to these competitive elements, special gifts are available for both participants and attendees, further encouraging public engagement.

Supported by strategic partners such as UXI, Fly Dubai, Emirates NBD, and U by Emaar, ‘Emarat Al Aman’ is accessible to all community members, who are invited to register on the official website. Registration remains open throughout the event, allowing visitors to join the competition’s various activities and experience a unique blend of security education and community-building initiatives.
