MBRHE Hosts Housing Innovation Forum to Shape the Future of Sustainable Housing

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) organized the Housing Innovation Forum on Wednesday, as part of the “UAE Innovates 2025” initiative.

The event highlighted the latest advancements in the housing sector, emphasizing digital transformation, sustainability, and innovation. It brought together experts and decision-makers from both the public and private sectors for dynamic discussions and interactive workshops.

The forum reflects MBRHE’s commitment to pioneering sustainable housing solutions. The organization’s strategy focuses on leveraging technology and innovation to create smart, sustainable living environments that enhance the quality of life for citizens.

Mariam Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director of Strategy and Development Management at MBRHE, emphasized the role of innovation in driving sustainability and improving living standards.

“Innovation in the housing sector is a fundamental driver for sustainability and an enhanced quality of life. Through the Housing Innovation Forum, we seek to anticipate the future and adopt the latest technologies and smart solutions that enhance the efficiency of housing projects,”

she said.

A highlight of the event was a panel discussion titled “Housing and Ambition: Designing Future Solutions,” where experts shared insights on shaping the housing sector’s future. Additionally, two specialized workshops were held. The first, "Housing Horizons – Innovative Solutions for a Flexible and Sustainable Future," explored adaptive housing strategies, while the second, "The Future of Housing – Inspired by Youth Aspirations," delved into how the younger generation’s views can influence future housing developments.

The forum was attended by key stakeholders, including real estate developers, engineers, technology experts, and academics, all contributing to the development of smart, sustainable housing solutions for the future.
