Mohammed bin Rashid Reviews Hatta AED3.6 Billion Development Plan and Visits Winter Festival
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, reviewed the progress of Hatta’s AED3.6 billion development projects during a visit to the area. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized Dubai’s commitment to sustainable development and enhancing Hatta’s position as a global model of harmony between humans and nature.
Among the 65 initiatives under the Hatta Master Development Plan, 41 have been completed. Key projects include the Hatta Sustainable Waterfalls, featuring the world’s largest mosaic panel, and various youth-led ventures like GoGravity electric bikes and the Al Bedwawi Honey project. His Highness also inaugurated the Hatta Winter Festival, which promotes local tourism and supports Emirati entrepreneurs.
Sheikh Mohammed also reviewed ongoing projects such as a 250 MW hydroelectric power station, a 5.4 km cable car to Um Al Nesoor Peak, and plans for a model school, community facilities, and a residential neighborhood for Emirati citizens. These initiatives align with Dubai’s Vision 2030 and aim to enhance tourism, infrastructure, and quality of life in the region.
