MoHRE Achieves 100% Reduction in Procedures and Service Completion Time
The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has made significant strides in implementing the UAE's Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
This initiative aims to streamline government processes, reducing bureaucracy to elevate efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction across sectors.
Khalil Ibrahim Al Khoori, MoHRE’s Undersecretary of Labour Market and Emiratisation Operations, highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency. This includes migrating all systems to the FEDnet cloud network and launching the Smart Inspection System to proactively manage labour market risks. These steps align with the UAE’s goal of fostering a customer-centric government, integrating public and private sector services, and promoting digital transformation.
Key achievements include a 72% reduction in procedures, a 93% decrease in required data fields, and an 83% drop in processing times for the newly launched Work Bundle, which enables private-sector workers to manage work and residency procedures through a unified digital platform. Additionally, initiatives such as the ‘Investor Journey - Abu Dhabi’ package have reduced establishment registration requirements by 100%.
MoHRE has also introduced automated services, such as a system for renewing work permits, job experience certificates, and an electronic service for settling violators’ statuses, achieving reductions in required documents, visits, and processing times. The Ministry’s partnership with entities like the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship has eliminated the need for physical visits, shifting to immediate, AI-enabled approvals.
These advancements represent MoHRE’s dedication to the UAE’s vision of a responsive, efficient, and digitally empowered government.
