Parkin and Skyports Join Forces to Enhance Dubai’s Air Mobility

Parkin Company PJSC, the largest provider of paid public parking facilities in Dubai, has announced a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Skyports Infrastructure, a leader in vertiport development for the advanced air mobility (AAM) industry.

This partnership aims to enhance Dubai’s transportation landscape by integrating air taxi services with Parkin’s extensive parking network.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Ahmed Bahrozyan, Chairman of Parkin, by Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, and Duncan Walker, CEO of Skyports. The agreement supports the development of multi-modal, seamless transportation solutions, unlocking potential locations for air taxi take-off and landing infrastructure.

Parkin will manage parking facilities at select Skyports vertiports, allowing the company to generate revenue while facilitating customer access through advanced parking management technologies. AAM represents a revolutionary transportation approach using electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, aiming to alleviate road congestion and enhance urban mobility.

“This partnership is a testament to Parkin’s commitment to innovation and growth,”

said Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali.

“By leveraging our extensive parking network and Skyports’ expertise, we aim to improve connectivity for residents and visitors while supporting Dubai’s green mobility ambitions.”

Duncan Walker echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the synergy between Parkin’s assets and Skyports’ operations. The collaboration aligns with Dubai’s Green Mobility Strategy and Smart Autonomous Mobility Strategy 2030, paving the way for a safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation ecosystem in the Emirate.

This partnership marks a significant step toward the future of urban mobility in Dubai, ensuring a seamless experience for air taxi passengers while fostering sustainable transportation solutions.
