DTC strengthens existing strategic partnership with RAKTA
Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) signed a partnership agreement with the Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) of the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai, to strengthen the existing strategic partnership between them and unify efforts to provide distinguished services to customers and all segments of society in the sectors of commercial transportation, school transportation, and smart booking applications.
Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi, General Manager of RAKTA, and Mansoor Rahma Al Falasi, CEO of DTC, signed the agreement in the presence of several officials from both sides. The agreement called for stepping up collaborative efforts to develop shared frameworks for cooperation to achieve their goals.
According to RAKTA’s general manager, the agreement is part of the Authority’s efforts to expand the range of its collaborative partnerships to support its mission and ensure easy access and efficient transportation for all citizens, residents and visitors to Ras Al Khaimah. The agreement also implements RAKTA’s goals to improve customer satisfaction by introducing electric limos to the transportation services. This will be offered to the general public throughout Ras Al Khaimah and during major events in the emirate. The DTC participates in providing school transportation services, contributing to raising the quality of service and life in the emirate.
The CEO of DTC stated that this partnership meets the corporation’s expansionary objectives. Through this, it seeks to broaden the scope of its partnership on a global and regional scale and primarily seeks to improve the quality of life in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Moreover, he praised RAKTA’s outstanding efforts in expanding its public services. He underlined that this collaboration covers all specialised transportation needs in the emirate, including limousine services and commercial and school bus services.
