SCA Launches Second Edition of Financial Market Pioneers Programme for Emirati Talent

The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) has proudly inaugurated the second edition of its Financial Market Pioneers Programme at its Dubai branch, aimed at empowering Emirati youth for careers in the UAE's financial sector.

This initiative, in collaboration with Sandooq Al Watan and the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Academy, focuses on enhancing the technical and theoretical skills of participants, preparing them for key roles that contribute to sustainable economic growth.

Around 30 participants from various private and government sectors have joined this elite programme, representing a diverse group from UAE-based financial institutions.

Dr. Maryam Buti Al Suwaidi, CEO of SCA, expressed the organization's commitment to equipping young Emiratis with the necessary resources to shape the future of the financial sector.

"We strive to supply the sector with qualified Emirati professionals who can enhance its global competitiveness, aligning with the UAE's strategic vision as a leading financial hub,"

she stated. Dr. Al Suwaidi highlighted the importance of continuous learning in a knowledge-based economy, emphasizing the need for a new generation equipped to adapt to technological advancements.

Yasser Al Gergawi, Director-General of Sandooq Al Watan, reinforced the significance of investing in youth, stating,

"Offering specialized training in this vital sector promotes our national identity and empowers Emiratis to contribute to sustainable development."

Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, Chairman of ADGM Academy, noted that the continuation of this programme underscores the Academy’s dedication to advancing the UAE's financial sector through knowledge dissemination and high-quality training.

With this initiative, the SCA aims to nurture the next generation of financial leaders and support the UAE's transition towards a knowledge-based economy.
