Top 10 most valuable brands in the world

Brand Finance, a brand valuation and strategy consultancy, published its latest global 500 ranking on the most valuable and strongest global brands on Jan 17.

Apple is called the world's most valuable brand worth $516.6 billion. Chinese brands - TikTok and ICBC – ranked at 7th and 10th spot.

Among the 500 brands, the Chinese brand accounts for 15.7 percent to take the second position in the world. The US and Germany ranked at first and third position, with the proportion at 52.35 percent and 6.09 percent, respectively.

Tech, banking, and retail are the top three sectors that have the most brands among the 500 rankings, with the proportion at 17.12, 11.81, and 11.75 percent, respectively.
