UAE & Hungary Set Up A Business Council
The UAE Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) sign an MoU at the Hungarian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai to establish the UAE-Hungarian Business Council.
The memorandum was signed by Hamid Mohammed bin Salem, FCCI Secretary-General, and Péter Szijjártó, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary on the sidelines of the third meeting of the UAE-Hungarian Business Committee in Dubai.
FCCI Secretary-General said that the signing was the culmination of continuous efforts to accelerate trade exchanges between the two countries, noting that the council will carry out commercial and promotional activities in the field of trade, investment, technology and other fields.
He explained that the council will focus on the targeted sectors between the two nations in the fields of agriculture, tourism, construction, health and education, which will create great opportunities for investment and partnership between the two sides.
He highlighted the investment opportunities boasted by Hungary thanks to its privileged geographical location as an entry point to many European markets, thereby creating valuable opportunities for Emirati businesspeople to accelerate their exports to those markets.
