UAE Launches National Youth Agenda 2031 to Empower Emirati Youth as Global Role Models
The Federal Youth Authority (FYA) has launched the "National Youth Agenda 2031" to position Emirati youth as exemplary role models locally and globally.
The initiative aims to empower young talents, aligning with the leadership’s vision of fostering economic and social development and national responsibility.
The launch event saw attendance from public and private sector officials, youth council members, and strategic partners.
Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, highlighted the leadership's role in supporting youth as key partners in national development. He emphasized that the Agenda’s initiatives, programs, and projects will cultivate a supportive environment for young people to develop their capabilities and contribute to the state’s global competitiveness.
The Agenda outlines five strategic goals for Emirati youth: contributing to national economic growth, adhering to Emirati values while contributing to the community, being global role models, mastering advanced technologies and future skills, and enjoying high levels of health and quality of life.
Key targets of the Agenda include:
- Qualifying over 100 young Emiratis for representation in global organizations.
- Ensuring 100% suitable career pathways for youth in the labor market.
- Placing the UAE among the top 10 countries for youth quality of life.
- Enhancing national consciousness and pride in Emirati identity.
- Making the UAE the easiest country for youth to access basic services.
- Doubling youth projects in promising sectors.
- Doubling the number of young Emiratis obtaining qualifications for future skills and the labor market.
