UAE Unveils First Creators HQ to Attract 10,000 Influencers and Revolutionize Digital Media

The Creators HQ was officially launched today at Emirates Towers during the 1 Billion Followers Summit, marking a transformative moment for the global content creation industry.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to position the UAE as a hub for digital media and innovation, seeking to attract 10,000 influencers to the country.

Developed under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Creators HQ stems from the AED150 million ‘Content Creators Support Fund,’ introduced in 2024 to empower creators and drive the growth of the digital content sector. The launch coincides with the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest event for the creator economy, held from January 11–13 under the theme “Content for Good.”

Mohammad Al Gergawi, UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs, highlighted the initiative's significance, stating,

“The UAE is committed to building a comprehensive content economy that maximises the positive impact of digital media on society.”

The Creators HQ opens with 100 members, representing top creators and industry leaders from over 20 countries. It will host 300+ events and workshops annually, offering services such as UAE Golden Visa support, relocation assistance, and business setup. Partnerships with global platforms like Meta, TikTok, and X further solidify its status as a global content hub.

The HQ also prioritises talent development through mentorships, funding, and training programs focused on storytelling, branding, monetisation, and emerging technologies. By fostering collaboration with creators, enablers, and tech innovators, the UAE continues to lead the way in shaping the future of the creator economy.
