Starting from Wednesday evening, the country will experience unstable weather conditions. This includes a mix of cloud types and small convective clouds initiating from the west. By Thursday, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected to cover most areas, continuing into Friday.
Which are the areas that received rainfall on Tuesday?
Residents of the UAE, particularly those in the eastern and northern parts of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, are urged to be extra cautious when going outdoors due to the current weather conditions. Abu Dhabi has seen light to moderate rainfall in areas such as Mshayrif, Al Khatim, Al Shawamekh, and Al Bahyah, while the Al Dhafra region experienced moderate to heavy rainfall. Light rainfall was reported in Ras Al Khaimah, specifically in Shawka – Wadi Al Ejeili and Wadi Tuwa. In Sharjah, the Taraif-Kalba area received rainfall, and in Ajman, the Masfout area saw light rain. Similarly, in Fujairah, the Al Hayl and Wadi Mai areas also experienced light rainfall.

Concurrently, winds will shift from south-easterly to north-easterly and may become strong at times. These conditions will cause the sea to be moderate to rough, particularly during cloudy periods in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
