Starting July 1, Dubai Mall will implement a new paid parking system in collaboration with Salik Company, aimed at optimizing parking availability and enhancing visitor convenience.

The initiative covers Grand Parking, Cinema Parking, and Fashion Parking zones, while Zabeel and Fountain Views parking areas will remain complimentary.

On weekdays, visitors will enjoy the first four hours of parking free of charge, with subsequent fees ranging from Dh20 to Dh1,000. Weekend parking will allow up to six free hours, after which hourly rates will apply.

The decision follows an announcement in December 2023 outlining plans for a barrier-free parking system designed to streamline access and improve overall efficiency. With over 13,000 parking spaces available, Dubai Mall seeks to alleviate congestion and ensure a seamless experience for guests.

According to Ahmed Almatrooshi of Emaar Properties,

"This new approach is part of our commitment to enhancing the guest experience through innovative technology. By partnering with Salik, we aim to set new standards in retail and leisure, providing visitors with hassle-free parking solutions."

Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, CEO of Salik Company, emphasized the strategic significance of the collaboration, stating,

"This partnership underscores our dedication to sustainable and smart mobility solutions. We are thrilled to pioneer this initiative with Emaar, marking a pivotal step towards innovative and barrier-free parking experiences."
