The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) is set to showcase the emirate's advanced manufacturing ecosystem at the Dubai Pavilion during Make it in the Emirates 2026, the UAE's flagship industrial forum running from 4 to 7 May at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

The UAE's flagship industrial forum kicked off Monday in Abu Dhabi, bringing together 1,200 exhibitors and an expected 120,000 visitors over four days to showcase the country's growing industrial ambitions.

GCC countries have surpassed the global benchmark in the 2026 Economic Freedom Index, with the bloc scoring 66.9 points against a worldwide average of 59.9 — a gap of nearly seven points that underscores the region's growing reputation as one of the world's most open business environments.
