Dubai Financial Market posted a net profit before tax of AED443.2 million for the first half of 2026, as trading activity surged even though overall profitability declined compared to the same period last year.

e& Group delivered a robust first-half performance in 2026, with consolidated revenue climbing 11.6 percent year-on-year to AED38.1 billion, as the UAE telecom giant expanded its subscriber base and executed a series of high-value asset sales.

The Central Bank of the UAE has provided repayment deferrals worth AED13.5 billion to more than 135,000 bank customers, underscoring the strength of a proactive support package rolled out to shore up the resilience of financial institutions across the country.
