flynas, the Saudi budget carrier, unveiled expansion plans for the UAE on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) on Monday.

Starting September 2024, flynas will expand its operations to include Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Al Maktoum International (DWC) - alongside its existing flights to Dubai International (DXB) - within its network, which currently operates from its main bases in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Madinah.

This expansion increases the number of routes between Saudi Arabia and the UAE to nine, with flight frequencies surging to more than 20 daily flights.

Bander Almohanna, Managing Director and CEO of flynas, said,

"We are pleased to strengthen air connectivity between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, reflecting NAS Airlines' commitment to moving forward with its growth and expansion plan under the slogan ‘Connecting the World to the Kingdom’.”

flynas connects over 70 domestic and international destinations through a network of more than 1,500 weekly flights. Since its launch in 2007, flynas has transported more than 78 million passengers. Currently, it strives to expand its reach to 165 destinations both domestically and internationally.
