The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) and the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) have partnered with Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation (AGF) and Al Ghurair Investment to train and upskill Emirati talent, providing 1,500 HCT students annually with internationally recognized certificates and creating job opportunities in the private sector. The partnership aims to meet labor market demands and enhance cooperation among the entities.

The partnership aims to enhance integration and cooperation among the three entities to train and upskill Emirati talent to meet labour market requirements.

It is set to provide internationally recognised professional certificates to approximately 1,500 HCT students every year, enabling them to join various economic sectors, while also creating hundreds of job opportunities and apprenticeships for UAE citizens in the private sector.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar highlighted a new collaboration between government and private sectors to create job and training opportunities for UAE nationals, aligning with rapid market growth and economic sector developments under the country's leadership directives.

Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair expressed enthusiasm for partnering with the Ministry and HCT to support Emiratisation, emphasizing the importance of private sector investment in national human capital to align with the UAE Government's vision.

Dr. Faisal Alayyan, President of HCT, emphasizes their commitment to enhancing future generations' professional capabilities. HCT's new strategy focuses on aligning education with economic needs through stronger partnerships with the business sector, aiming for sustained collaboration and improved programme relevance.

John Iossifidis, Group CEO of Al Ghurair Investment, emphasizes empowering Emirati talent beyond job provision. Collaborative partnerships aim to equip young Emiratis with skills for career success, benefiting individuals and fostering UAE's economic development.

Dr. Sonia Ben Jaafar, CEO of Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation, expresses pride in collaborating to support Emiratisation goals. She highlights the UAE nationals' competitiveness and capabilities, emphasizing their contribution to a knowledge-based economy through professional roles in various fields and businesses.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) will support the Nomu program by the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation, integrating it into the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council’s Nafis platform. MoHRE will also aid in marketing, candidate selection, and providing necessary data. HCT will provide campus space and support for Foundation programs for its students.

Al Ghurair Investment initiates 50 annual apprenticeships for Higher College of Technology students, plus 35 job opportunities annually. Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation provides 1,000-1,500 professional certificate opportunities yearly, English/mathematics upskilling, and 300 job opportunities. The Foundation offers mentorship, supports innovation, faculty training, and collaboration initiatives.
