The third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit 2025, the world’s largest event dedicated to the content creation economy, concluded after hosting over 15,000 influencers, 420 speakers, and 125 CEOs.
Organized by the UAE Government Media Office under the theme “Content for Good,” the Summit took place across Dubai's Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, will patronize the fourth edition, set for January 9–11, 2026.
This year’s event introduced the One Billion Award, a US$1 million prize recognizing creators of impactful content, and the 1 Billion Pitches competition, which allocated AED 50 million to startups fostering innovation in content creation. The Summit also saw participation from major social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and Meta, with discussions on leveraging AI, combating misinformation, and shaping the future of content.
Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Al Gergawi highlighted the UAE’s vision of fostering a sustainable content economy, emphasizing its global leadership in this sector. Saeed Al Eter, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs, celebrated the Summit’s role in uniting stakeholders and empowering youth as drivers of the digital media industry.
The event featured over 340 sessions, including keynote addresses, workshops, and discussions, cementing its status as a global hub for innovation, collaboration, and societal progress in content creation.
