The fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit will begin on 9 January 2026 in Dubai, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Organised by the UAE Government Media Office, the three-day summit will take place across Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future under the theme “Content for Good.”
Now recognised as the world’s largest gathering dedicated to the content creator economy, the summit will welcome more than 15,000 creators, influencers, industry leaders, and experts from around the world. According to Saeed Al Eter, Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, the event reflects the UAE’s vision of positioning itself as a global media capital and transforming digital influence into real-world impact.
The 2026 edition is built around two core pillars. The first focuses on shifting content creation toward impact creation. This includes global initiatives such as the 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign, launched in partnership with MrBeast and supported by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and the Varkey Foundation. The campaign has already inspired more than 170,000 acts of kindness and generated over 100 million views. The summit also continues collaborations with major platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, X, and Disney+ to support meaningful content.
The second pillar centres on integrating artificial intelligence into content creation. A major highlight is the AI Film Award, launched with Google Gemini, offering a US$1 million prize and attracting over 30,000 participants from 116 countries.
The summit will feature more than 500 speakers, including global figures such as MrBeast, Will Smith, Novak Djokovic, Simon Squibb, Mohamed Alabbar, and Rio Ferdinand. With over 400 sessions across economy, content, and technology tracks, the event will explore monetisation, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, AI, and the future of digital media. The summit reinforces Dubai’s role as a global hub for the creator economy and responsible digital innovation.
