For the first time, leading global social media platforms will gather under one roof at the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the largest event dedicated to shaping the creator economy.
Organized by the UAE Government Media Office, the summit will take place from January 11-13, 2025, at Dubai’s Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future, under the theme "Content for Good."
Representatives from Snapchat, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Meta will share insights on the future of content creation, equipping creators and influencers to amplify their reach and impact. The event includes panel discussions, interactive workshops, and thought-provoking sessions on topics such as creating impactful content, combating misinformation, and leveraging AI and analytics.
Meta will host several workshops, including "First Impressions: Meta’s Latest Updates to Make You Stand Out in 2025" and sessions on monetization and content strategy. Highlights include Fares Akkad’s session on AI advancements and Chris Bowyer’s “Athletes for Good.”
TikTok will offer workshops like "TikTok 101: Your Ultimate Beginner’s Guide" by Sara Al Moaz and "The Endless Possibilities of TikTok LIVE" by Moheb Malak, focusing on content creation, brand growth, and monetization.
YouTube will lead sessions such as "YouTube Fundamentals" and workshops on podcasting, Shorts, and monetization, with top creators sharing insights on building successful multiformat channels.
Platforms like X, LinkedIn, and Snapchat will showcase strategies for expanding audience engagement, promoting authentic content, and monetization.
This landmark summit reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation, creativity, and the digital economy.
