CBUAE Marks 12.3% Year-on-Year Growth in Gold Reserves By End of February

The value of gold reserves of the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) reached AED17.864 billion by the end of February 2024, a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 12.3 percent from AED15.910 bn in February last year.

The apex bank, in its latest figures, showed that gold reserves mildly dropped by 0.32 percent on a monthly basis from AED17.92 billion in January 2024.

The UAE's gold reserves significantly grew over the past years, hitting AED12.862 billion by the end of 2020 from AED4.044 billion by the end of 2019, and AED1.134 billion in 2018.
