The 17th Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Festival is set to commence tomorrow at Dubai International Endurance City (DIEC) in Seeh Al Salam, running until January 11.

Jointly organised by the Dubai Equestrian Club and the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, the festival is a landmark event in the UAE’s endurance racing calendar, attracting top Emirati and international riders.

The festival features four distinctive rides, kicking off with the 101-kilometer Dubai Crown Prince Ride for Ladies on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the Dubai Crown Prince Ride for Private Stables will follow the same challenging 101-kilometer route. The prestigious 120-kilometer Yamamah Endurance Cup for Mares will take place on Thursday, leading to the grand finale on Saturday—the Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Cup. Sponsored by Emaar Properties, this 120-kilometer showpiece event is the highlight of the festival.

Ahmed Al Kaabi, Deputy General Manager of the Dubai Equestrian Club, emphasized the festival's prominence, noting its association with H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

“It holds a prestigious and high-ranking position in the international endurance racing calendar,”

Al Kaabi stated, adding that this year’s edition will feature over 800 horses.

Dr. Ghanem Al Hajri, Secretary-General of the UAE Equestrian Federation, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the growing global interest in the event. He remarked on the festival’s significance in the UAE's sporting landscape, with its diverse categories drawing increasing participation year after year.

The Dubai Crown Prince Endurance Festival remains a testament to the UAE's commitment to promoting equestrian excellence on a global stage.
