Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Forum of UAE Ambassadors and Representatives of Missions Abroad will commence tomorrow, on Monday, in an event organised annually by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In its 18th session, the forum will explore current issues and geostrategic developments at the regional and international levels. The Forum will also highlight the UAE’s vision towards peace, security, and economic diplomacy.
This year’s forum, which will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs until 8th February, 2024, will include more than 30 sessions attended by ministers, senior officials in the country, heads of UAE missions abroad, heads of departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives from government institutions and agencies, and experts from various sectors.
Through its events and discussion panels, the forum will address major strategic issues in the fields of politics, economy, investment, innovation, culture, advanced technology and artificial intelligence, climate action, future energy trends, and future plans in service of the UAE Government's strategy.
Notably, the Forum of UAE Ambassadors and Representatives of Missions Abroad provides an important opportunity for interaction, dialogue, and the exchange of views and ideas with senior figures and officials in the UAE, as well as ambassadors and representatives of missions abroad, on regional and international developments to enhance the role of UAE's diplomacy and foreign policy.
