His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, officially inaugurated the 23rd edition of Ru’ya, Careers UAE at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
This leading recruitment and networking forum aims to empower young Emiratis, featuring the theme ‘[YOU]th Can.’
During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor explored the stands of over 150 exhibitors from 26 diverse sectors, including prominent organizations like Dubai Police, Emaar, and PwC. Accompanied by His Excellency Helal Almarri, Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, Sheikh Mansoor witnessed thousands of young Emiratis engaging with top employers, including the event’s Platinum Sponsor, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), and Gold Sponsor, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB).
His Excellency Abdulla Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, expressed pride in the government’s involvement, emphasizing the alignment with the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision. This initiative aims to position the UAE among the top global destinations for talent attraction and retention.
The event, running from September 24 to 26, offers Emirati students and young professionals access to over 3,000 job vacancies, mentoring, and workshops. Notable highlights from day one included inspirational talks from leading Emirati sportswomen and a panel on women empowerment featuring top industry leaders.
