30th Edition of DUPHAT 2025 Kicks Open at DWTC

H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, inaugurated the 30th edition of the Dubai International Pharmaceutical and Technology Conference and Exhibition (DUPHAT 2025) at the Dubai World Trade Centre today.

The event, the largest gathering of pharmaceutical professionals in the Middle East and Africa, runs until 9 January.

Accompanied by top health officials, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed toured the event's pavilions, featuring cutting-edge pharmaceutical products and advancements. With 1,376 exhibitors, 155 speakers, and 130 scientific sessions, the conference is set to attract over 31,000 visitors from 101 countries. Participants can earn accredited continuing education hours while university students present 400 research posters.

DUPHAT 2025 also debuts the "Vita Show Dubai," showcasing innovations in dietary supplements and vitamins. This sector is rapidly growing in the MENA region, with the market expected to reach $11.7 billion by 2028.

Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Executive Chairman of DUPHAT, highlighted the event's role in fostering global collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development in healthcare. Dr. Ali Al Sayed Hussain, Chairman of DUPHAT, emphasized the conference's focus on addressing global healthcare challenges and opportunities.

With countries like Poland, China, and Turkey showcasing cutting-edge technologies, DUPHAT 2025 continues to position Dubai as a hub for healthcare innovation and collaboration, aligning with the UAE’s vision for global health prominence.
