7X has launched Autologix Smarttech LLC (AutoLogiX), a new joint venture with global autonomous technology leader Zelostech, marking a major step in advancing smart logistics across the UAE.
The partnership introduces Level 4 autonomous vehicles designed for cargo transport without a driver, cab, or steering wheel. The rollout begins with supporting EMX, 7X’s logistics arm, to streamline delivery operations within the UAE. The initiative aims to transition from traditional trucks to faster, safer, and more sustainable transport solutions.
The first phase will focus on middle-mile logistics between hubs, while future plans include expanding across the GCC and the wider Middle East. Upcoming developments will integrate last-mile delivery systems, smart locker networks, and air freight connections to boost operational efficiency and cut emissions.
Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, said the venture reflects the UAE’s commitment to digital transformation and sustainability.
“AutoLogiX marks an exceptional achievement in transforming the regional logistics sector by leveraging advanced Level 4 autonomous technologies,”
he said.
Zelostech CEO Kong Qi highlighted that the partnership builds on over 50 million kilometers of safe autonomous operations globally, with plans to deploy more than 20,000 vehicles by year-end. He emphasized the collaboration as a cornerstone for expanding smart logistics across the Middle East.
EMX General Manager Laith Tahboub added that integrating autonomous vehicles will enhance delivery efficiency and environmental performance while aligning with the UAE’s vision for intelligent transport infrastructure.
The launch of AutoLogiX reinforces the UAE’s position as a global hub for smart transportation innovation and sustainable logistics solutions.
