7X Launches Wayn Digital P.O. Box Platform to Revolutionize UAE Postal Services
7X has unveiled Wayn, a digital P.O. Box platform, aimed at modernizing postal services in the UAE.
The platform allows individuals and businesses to create a permanent digital address linked to their physical location, verified through national ID or the National Economic Register (NER). This innovative system enables secure delivery of shipments, documents, and e-bills, protecting users from cybersecurity threats like phishing and fraud.
Wayn offers a unified digital mailbox with automated archiving, categorizing documents, and invoices for secure and efficient management. Users can choose where to receive deliveries, whether at home, office, Emirates Post branches, or authorized pick-up points, with additional features available through subscription-based services like the MyHome Package.
During the launch in Abu Dhabi, 7X signed strategic agreements with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and the UAE Cybersecurity Council to enhance digital security and ensure secure user authentication through the UAE Pass. The UAE Cybersecurity Council also accredited Wayn as a "Secure Digital Communication Channel," reinforcing 7X's commitment to secure digital solutions.
Badr Al-Olama, Chairman of 7X, emphasized the platform’s alignment with the UAE's digital transformation goals, while Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti highlighted Wayn's cutting-edge encryption and identity verification technologies. Wayn’s launch marks a key milestone in the UAE’s push for secure, smart, and efficient postal services.
The platform is free for all UAE residents, with value-added services set to roll out to businesses first.
