Dubai welcomed the 7th edition of the AccessAbilities Expo on Monday at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The three-day event highlights cutting-edge technologies designed to support people of determination and promote inclusive living.
The expo brings together 270 exhibitors from 50 countries and is expected to attract more than 15,000 visitors. Participants include government entities, specialised centres, and organisations showcasing initiatives aimed at improving accessibility and quality of life.
Attendees can explore a wide range of assistive innovations, from wearable devices and smart systems to interactive applications and advanced prosthetics. These solutions cater to individuals with physical, visual, and intellectual disabilities, as well as those on the autism spectrum, enhancing independence and social inclusion.
Beyond technology, the event serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, allowing stakeholders to share strategies, services, and projects that empower people of determination. Organisers say the expo reflects Dubai’s ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all.
AccessAbilities Expo 2025 runs until Wednesday, positioning Dubai as a global hub for assistive technology and inclusive innovation.
