ADNOC, in collaboration with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC) through its Nafis leadership programme, has announced a strategic partnership aimed at generating 13,500 new private sector jobs for UAE Nationals within ADNOC’s supply chain by 2028.

This initiative aligns with the UAE’s broader objective of creating 100,000 private sector jobs for Emiratis over the next three years, focusing on high-skilled roles in cutting-edge sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), engineering, and manufacturing.

As part of the agreement, significant job and training opportunities will be extended to UAE Nationals in the Al Dhafra region starting this year. ADNOC will also provide 1,000 vocational training positions through the Nafis Apprentice Programme, aimed at university graduates seeking hands-on experience within ADNOC’s supply chain.

Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, emphasized ADNOC’s commitment to nurturing local talent, stating,

“Our partnership with Nafis underscores ADNOC’s dedication to upskilling UAE Nationals through our In-Country Value (ICV) programme. By expanding our workforce development initiatives, we aim to bolster industrial and economic growth, ensuring a sustainable and reliable energy supply globally.”

Ghannam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, highlighted the strategic importance of the agreement, stating,

“This collaboration reinforces our mission to integrate Emirati youth into the workforce. By fostering partnerships with both government and private sectors, we aim to create meaningful opportunities for UAE Nationals, aligning with our leadership’s vision of sustainable development.”

The expansion of ADNOC’s ICV programme is set to further enhance opportunities in advanced technologies and support the growth of local businesses, underpinning the UAE’s economic diversification efforts.
